Clean Water, Better Beer at West Sixth Farm

SATURDAY, AUG. 4, FRANKFORT, KY. Spend the evening with Kentucky Waterways Alliance and West Sixth Brewing at the West Sixth Farm in Frankfort! Join us on August 4th from 4-8pm to celebrate 25 Years of the Kentucky Waterways Alliance while enjoying a beer outdoors. The event is free but a donation to KWA is welcome.

4:00 – Explore the farm! Chew on This food truck will be on hand if you’re hungry!
5:30 – Small presentation and discussion by West Sixth and KWA
6:00 to 8:00 – Music by Handshake Deals

Grab a brew at the farm taproom & pavillion, play yard games, and explore the hop yard, fishing pond, orchard and more. Maps for self-guided tours around the inner loop will be provided

In addition, bring your mountain bike or trail shoes to explore the 4.5 miles of mixed use trail at the West Sixth Farm, sponsored by KYMBA Bluegrass: made up of some Mountain Biking specific runs and ‘two-way’ trails for sharing (hiking & trail running). Intermediate to Difficult for Mountain Bikers – practice your technical skills! Steep and rolling hills, pastures, creek crossings, log obstacles, & more!
