BCA is a group of people that care about Beargrass Creek and work to protect and restore it. We do cleanups and help homeowners control pollution with rain gardens and rain barrels through our Every Drop program. Beargrass Creek Alliance Cleanup in Cherokee Park Join us Saturday, September 28 for a creek cleanup on Beargrass Creek in Louisville, KY. Participants should meet at Cherokee Park near the Frisbee/Rugby Field at 10 am for a safety meeting and to get equipped with the necessary supplies provided by Kentucky Waterways Alliance (trash bags, gloves, etc.). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers along with the project sponsor, Louisville MSD, will be hosting a public scoping meeting for the Three Forks of Beargrass Creek Ecosystem Restoration Feasibility Study Nov. 14. The public is invited to join in the planning process and share recommendations for the restoration of the Beargrass Creek watershed.

Bluegrass Greensource is hosting the Inaugural Bluegrass Sustainability Summit on Tuesday, February 4 from 8am-4:30pm at the University of Kentucky Gatton Student Center in Lexington, KY.
