Finally! Rescheduled to May after bad weather cancelled the original date in April, the Make A Splash Water Festival was held was week and it was worth the wait. As planned it gave youthful Wolfe County students the chance to have fun and learn about clean water. Kids visited eight stations taught by field experts and got a new appreciate for local waterways and the environment. This event was hosted in partnership with Wolfe County 4H, Family Resources, and is funded in part by an East Kentucky PRIDE Environmental Education grant.
