Darby Creek is a beautiful tributary to Harrods Creek in Oldham County. Its 9.4 square miles are mostly forested with some agriculture and development. The developed portion of the watershed is the town of Buckner. The Darby Creek Watershed Team met regularly for over two years to create the Darby Creek Watershed Plan. The plan was finished in 2010.

The updated version below contains new water quality data collected in 2014, as well as updated information about discharge permits and other local facilities.
